The L Files is Australia’s longest-running independent Liverpool FC news portal.
Originally created in 1998 by Wayne Psaila to serve Australian and regional fans, the site has grown over the past three decades into a trusted source for Liverpool FC supporters around the world.
In 2013, the site adopted the co-branded name Liverpool Australia, reflecting its growing role in connecting fans nationwide. Wayne also co-founded LFC Melbourne in 2005 and served on the board of LFC Adelaide, contributing to the growth of official Liverpool supporter groups across the country.
While The L Files began with a strong focus on the Australian fanbase, it now delivers 24/7 updates on all things LFC—sourced from the most reliable media outlets—making it a go-to hub for supporters everywhere. The site also acts as a gateway to Liverpool supporter groups across Australia and New Zealand.
Over the years, The L Files has received numerous awards and been featured in various media publications for its dedication and service to the LFC community.
