Liverpool FC and adidas have unveiled the Reds’ new third kit for the 2026/27 season, with a sleek black design inspired by the atmosphere of European nights at Anfield.
The new shirt combines a black base with maroon detailing and matte silver accents, creating a distinctive look that pays tribute to supporters and the energy they generate under the lights at Anfield.
A subtle all-over graphic adds texture and movement to the design, drawing inspiration from the collective energy of the crowd. The Liver Bird, adidas logo and player names and numbers are finished in metallic silver, while the iconic adidas three stripes feature across the shoulders.
The kit is completed by matching black shorts and socks with coordinating silver detailing.
The launch is accompanied by a new campaign film, Feel the Anfield Effect, featuring Virgil van Dijk, Florian Wirtz, Ryan Gravenberch, Alisson Becker, Rio Ngumoha, Ceri Holland and Grace Fisk. The film is narrated by award-winning actor and lifelong Reds supporter Owen Cooper.
Alongside the match kit, adidas has also released the Originals Teamgeist 26 collection. Inspired by the third kit, the lifestyle range includes jackets, track pants, T-shirts, outerwear and footwear, blending Liverpool FC and adidas heritage with a contemporary streetwear style.
The new third kit is available to purchase now through Liverpool FC’s new global online store, as well as official LFC stores and the LFC Store app. Season Ticket Holders and All Red members receive a 10 per cent discount.
The kit launch also coincides with the introduction of Liverpool FC’s redesigned global online store, which the club says offers a faster and more personalised shopping experience across mobile and desktop.
For Reds supporters, the new third kit offers a very different look to the traditional Liverpool red, with the black, maroon and silver combination giving the 2026/27 collection a distinctly European feel.
